Accept equal amounts new or gently used duffel bags and stuffed animals
NOTE: Monetary donations collected must be made out to
MWCOG with Children to Children written in the memo line. and mailed to:
"Children to Children"

Children to Children is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization
who's fiscal agent is Maryland Washington Council of Government and any monies
collected for Children to Children must be sent to the Organization.
Contact your local
Social Services Office and make arrangements for delivery of the bags
and the animals. You can find this information in your phone book. Inform
the director of the Social Services Office of the Children to Children
program.
When drive has concluded, all bags and animals should be inspected to
ensure that only new and near new products are being distributed. Any
items that are usable but not acceptable should be routed to the local
Goodwill or Salvation Army program.
Excess donations of stuffed animals or duffelbags exceeding the need in
your area may be shipped to Children to Children for Distribution throughout
the United States.

Contact Children to Children through website with total amount of bags
collected. E-mail Makenzie with your name, address and amount of luggage
tags requested for you to attach to bags.
Download Makenzie's letter and make enough copies to put one in each bag.
Each bag will need to have a Children to Children luggage tag attached
to it, be filled with stuffed animal and a copy of Makenzie's letter.
When you've had a successful drive in your area, please take the time
to email me and let me know about it! If you provide us with your contact
workers name and number it may make it easier for someone else in your
area to do a drive.
